Santenay « Les Bras »

Terroir

Within the ‘Les Bras’ climat, this one-hectare plot is located just below the emblematic Trois Croix de Santenay. Facing south-south-east, the plot benefits from an ideal amount of sunlight that brings optimal maturity to the grapes, expressing the finesse and elegance typical of this terroir.

Vinification & ageing

Traditional vinification highlights the authentic character of this wine. Three days of pre-fermentation cold maceration precede gentle pigeages and daily remontages, ensuring the precise extraction of aromas and tannins. Alcoholic fermentation follows; the wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, bringing structure and complexity.

Tasting

The robe of this Santenay ‘Les Bras’ is intense. The elegant nose combines floral notes of violet, sweet spices, reminiscent of gingerbread, and lush raspberries. On the palate, the attack is full and generous, with a perfectly balanced structure. Silky, round tannins accentuate an elegant and harmonious finish. A wine with finesse, perfect for pairing with delicate meats or casseroles.
