Maranges
Terroir
Located in the very south of the Côte de Beaune, the Maranges appellation links the Côte d’Or and Saône-et-Loire. Our vines, planted 35 years ago near the old washhouse, are rooted in a rich and generous terroir, conducive to the expression of Pinot Noir in all its splendour.
Vinification & ageing
We follow a traditional approach to bring out the authenticity of this terroir. After three days of pre-fermentation cold maceration, we practise gentle pigeages and daily remontages before alcoholic fermentation. Maturation then takes place for 12 months in two-year-old oak barrels that bring structure and balance to this wine.

Tasting
With a brilliant garnet robe, this Maranges seduces us with its intense nose of black cherry and red fruit coulis. On the palate, it displays beautiful concentration, carried by powerful and elegant tannins. The long and racy finish expresses all the character of this unique terroir. A structured wine – pairs ideally with characterful dishes such as beef bourguignon or grilled steak.
